Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Disha House has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain.

Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. Disha House has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.

Our Organization and Supply Chains

Disha House is a global creative technology company operating across multiple countries. Our supply chains include procurement of software, IT hardware, telecommunication services, facilities management services, and professional services from various vendors globally.

Our Policies on Modern Slavery

We operate a number of internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:

  • Code of Conduct and Ethics: This code explains the manner in which we behave as an organization and how we expect our employees and suppliers to act.
  • Whistleblower Policy: We encourage all our workers, customers and other business partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains of, Disha House.
  • Supplier Code of Conduct: We are committed to ensuring that our suppliers adhere to the highest standards of ethics. Suppliers are required to demonstrate that they provide safe working conditions, treat workers with dignity and respect, and act ethically and within the law in their use of labour.

Due Diligence Processes for Slavery and Human Trafficking

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we have in place systems to:

  • Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
  • Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
  • Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
  • Protect whistle blowers.

Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff. We also require our business partners to provide training to their staff and suppliers and providers.
